Build Connections in the Industry From Day One

our mentorship network

Through our extensive ecosystem partnerships with 20+ African VC funds, we are committed to building a bridge for our fellows into the industry by catalyzing their social capital.

Each Launch into VC program participant will be allocated with mentors for the duration of the program, to help them get their footing in the Startup and VC ecosystem, expand their network, and improve their likelihood of success. Mentorship Mixers happen on a biweekly basis lasting an hour, with intimate breakout rooms for mentors and their respective mentees to have conversations in a safe space.

All mentors are currently in roles below partner level in African-focused VC firms (analyst, associates, senior associates, junior managers, principals), and also include multiple Dream VC alumni. You can read more about some of our former Cohort Mentors here.

Launch your career in venture

Our alumni have gone on to become powerful ecosystem builders beyond just careers in venture capital. Be a founder, or angel invest. Work in a VC firm, or join a fast-growing startup as an operator. Maybe you'll be a startup scout, or dive into startup advisory. Others have joined entrepreneurship support organizations (ESOs) or leveraged their legal background to commit to VC & startup law.

Take a look at what some of our past fellows are up to, and become part of an ever-growing but culture-centric community that supports each other across multiple endeavors and verticals.
